About SPERANȚA-CON Association

SPERANTA-CON – a reliable partner of local food processors. The Association of Food Industry Processors SPERANTA-CON was created to protect and represent the interests of local producers in the food industry of the Republic of Moldova. The Association represents the interests of all local producers involved in the production of value-added food products, intended for human consumption and whose type of activity is included in the Division 10 “Food Industry” or Class 11.07 of the Classifier of activities in the economy of the Republic of Moldova. Over the past few years, SPERANTA-CON Association has fully demonstrated its efficiency in supporting the continuous development of its members, representatives of national food industry.

Lobby & Advocacy
SPERANTA-CON Association is a bridge between entrepreneurs of the food industry and the Government. The Association is oriented toward an efficient representation of the processors interests towards all echelons of State Power, but also towards solving specific problems of each of its members
Improving national legal framework related to food industry

Strengthening financial support of the food industry development
over the years, SPERANTA-CON Association significantly contributed to increasing state support to entrepreneurs of food industry by obtaining more solid subsidies, developing financial support programs, reducing customs duties on the import of raw materials, etc
Promoting eco-friendly production in food processing

SPERANTA-CON Association effectively defends the interests of its members in implementing of environmental regulation, such as Extended Producers Responsibility or the Packaging Management Deposit System.

Current priorities

Current priorities of the SPERANTA-CON Association consist of:

  • Ensuring an adequate level of subsidization of food industry,
  • Facilitating the access of food industry entrepreneurs to cheaper raw materials,
  • Strengthening the position of local processors vis-à-vis importers and distribution networks,
  • Reducing tariff and non-tariff barriers related to food industry activities,
  • Supporting local processors in the European Union accession process,
  • Defending the interests of food industry in different state policies.

In his capacity of SPERANTA-CON President, Mr. Stefan Golubciuc actively contributes to the development of the processing sector, being a loyal promoter of the interests of all processors, regardless of their size or sub-sector of activities.
